Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Andrii Teslia (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine), the developer and publisher of Spin Fish (“we”). They cover the game on iPhone, Android and the web, and the spinfish.app website. By playing, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
1. Who may play
The game is suitable for all ages but is designed for players aged 13 and over. Children under 13 should play with the permission of a parent or guardian. Minors may buy Scales for money only with a parent’s permission.
2. Your account
- You can play as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google.
- Guest progress is tied to one installation of the game. If you delete the game without signing in, the progress may be lost for good.
- Take care of access to your Apple or Google account — it is how you sign in to the game.
- One account is for one person. Do not sell or transfer your account.
3. Licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play Spin Fish for your own non-commercial enjoyment. You may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the game, use bots, cheats or programs that play or change the game for you, or edit the game’s saves.
4. The game
The game is free. Some of it works offline, but cloud saves, sign-in and purchases need a connection. We keep improving the game and may change or remove waters, fish, lures, tackle, prices and rules when needed for balance or development.
5. Scales and in-game items
- Scales (the in-game currency), lures, tackle, waters and other in-game items are part of the licence to the game, not your property.
- They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, sold, transferred to another player or taken out of the game.
- The Scales balance is kept by our server. If an operation is impossible under the game’s rules (for example, after a save was edited or a glitch), the server will not count it and the game will show the correct balance.
- When an account is deleted, its Scales and items are gone for good, including those bought for money.
6. Purchases
- Scales can be bought for money only in the game through the App Store or Google Play. These are one-time purchases: the Scales are added to your balance right away.
- Payment, taxes and refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own rules. To ask for a refund, contact them.
- If a purchase is cancelled or refunded, we may remove the matching Scales from your balance.
- If Scales did not arrive after payment, write to us and we will sort it out.
7. Fair play and conduct
You may not: use bots or cheats, exploit bugs for gain (please report them to us), forge requests to the server, create several accounts for bonuses, break the law, or insult or harass other players. If the game gets nicknames, friends or leaderboards, we may change an offensive nickname and remove a player from leaderboards. For serious or repeated breaches we may restrict or block an account — usually with notice first.
8. Ownership
The game, its code, images, sounds and the Spin Fish name belong to us. Names and images of real lures and tackle in the game are used with their owners’ permission and are their trademarks. Fonts and open-source libraries come with their own licences.
9. Feedback and ideas
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely in the game without payment or obligation to you. Thank you!
10. No warranty
We do our best to make the game work well, but we provide it “as is”. The game may have bugs or server outages, and progress may sometimes be lost. This does not limit consumer rights that cannot be excluded under the law of your country.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for lost progress or in-game items. Our total liability to you does not exceed the amount you paid for in-game purchases in the last 12 months. These limits do not apply where the law forbids them (for example, for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence).
12. Ending this agreement
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may end these terms for you if you seriously breach them. If we ever shut the game down, we will give at least 60 days’ notice.
13. App Store and Google Play terms
If you downloaded the game from the App Store or Google Play, that store’s rules also apply. For the App Store version: this agreement is between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the game, its support, warranties or claims about it; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it. If these terms conflict with Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), the EULA prevails for the App Store version.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. We first try to resolve disputes by writing to each other — contact us. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection your country’s law gives you and may go to court there.
15. Changes
We may change these terms. The new version applies from the date at the top of the page; we will announce important changes in the game. If you keep playing after a change, you are taken to accept it.
